Chris-Craft utilizes a 6-step lamination process that is quality-assured at each stage of production. We accept no deviation from set tolerances for gel coat finish and the 22 millimeters we provide represents an industry quality benchmark. We also laminate external hull and deck surfaces with a Vinylester barrier coating to improve gel coat performance.

Hull graphics are an integral part of the gel coat: many boat builders prefer to use secondary applications of vinyl tapes for fixing hull graphics, but these soon fade or peel. Chris-Craft only uses in-mold gel coat colors so that all graphic detailing becomes an integral part of the hull structure. This approach provides a deep rich hull color that excels in repair and buff back abilities.
