Our windshields, gauges, welded bow rails, through-hull fittings, load-bearing hardware, (including fixed and retractable cleats, hinges and latch mechanisms) are all made from 316 stainless steel rather than the inferior quality metals or plastics preferred by many of our competitors. The 316 stainless steel chrome-plated fasteners have the best corrosion resistance of any marine hardware and will not pit or show rust staining which occurs with lower grade chrome over brass.
